Those spammy chain emails from ten years ago have come true!

Except now instead of forwarding email to ten friends to get cash or a trip to Disney from Microsoft, I got an email forwarded to me to check out SearchPerks!, a promotion for Microsoft's Windows Live Search that incentivizes users to give up the Google and switch to Live Search. And Internet Explorer - you have to be on IE6+ to enroll in SearchPerks! and get credit for your Live Search(es).

Live Search definitely has one thing going for it: the #1 result for "Jim Gross" is http://jimgross.net/. I haven't been able to crack Google's top 50 yet.
